The books are amazing, I have read them and not watched the show but i think id like the books more than the show if i were to watch it anyway. I will try it one day, but rn no, so basically i would reccomend trying the books. Try to read them in order (1. Stormbreaker, 2. Point Blanc, 3. Skeleton Key, etc etc) to understand it.

I think you’re missing out if you don’t watch the tv series personally, and I don’t think the film is much good. Don’t get me wrong it was alright to watch and I still own it but I much prefer all the actors (and character portrayal) in the tv series.
