Alex Rider is a British web television series adaptation of the the novel series of the same name by Anthony Horowitz. It was created by Guy Burt and stars Otto Farrant as the eponymous character.
The first season premiered on Amazon Prime Video in the United Kingdom on June 4, 2020, consisting of eight episodes. In the United States, IMDb TV broadcasted the series, starting on November 13.[1] The second season of the web television series Alex Rider was released on Amazon Prime Video and IMDb TV for streaming on December 3, 2021.[2] (Production for the second season had originally been planned to begin in late 2020,[3] but ultimately started filming in January 2021, in Bristol.[4])

The storyline of Alex Rider generally follows the events from novels, though some details vary. It details Alex's debut mission from the first novel in the beginning, but quickly proceeds to focus on the story of the second novel, Point Blanc, where he is sent undercover to a mysterious school in the Alps.[5] The series is also set in a modern timeline, featuring a slightly older Alex Rider.
