Entry Point Alex Rider crossover?
So, I'm thinking of doing an Entry Point crossover with Alex Rider. What would u guys think off that?
The next Alex Rider book
Will the next book in the Alex Rider Series be 'Nightshade'? That's the organization mentioned at the end of Never Say Die - does anyone know what the next one will be?
Also, I'm struggling to contribute. A few pages that I want to edit are protected or semi-protected. Anyone know some decent places I could contribute?
James Adair
James was the son of Graham Adair. I hoped he could appear more frequently in the novels. Even though he was a minor character, he still played a huge role due to the Albert Bridge.
Charlie Roper's death
to me Charlie Roper's death is the most shocking of all of the deaths in the Alex Rider series, to those who don't know, Damien Cray lures him into a sealed room and dumps $2 million in quarters on to him until he was crushed and/or suffocated but I've always wondered and I'm sure other people have, how many landed on him and what was the exact weight?
while I don't know how much weight it takes to crush a human body, I do know how much weight fell on him
According to the Guide Book of United States Coins, by R.S. Yeoman, the modern US quarter weighs 5.67 grams
and as we know eight million quarters fell on Mr. Ropier, using a weight calculator, I have discovered that the total weight of the quarters is 45360000 in grams, 45360 in kilograms a…
Alex Rider Movies
While I was reading the Alex Rider books, I had a visual in my mind. I had a visual of what Alex Rider looked like and I had a visual of what he was doing. I do not plan on watching any more Alex Rider movies because It takes the imagination out of reading the books. After watching the movies, I didnt have to picture what Alex looked like or what the villians looked like because the movies did it for me. I think that watching the movies takes the fun and interest out of reading the books.
Dr. Grief pic?
If one of you has the Point Blanc graphic novel, could you please scan the page with the best shot of Dr. Grief and upload it? I'm very curious to see what this character looks like, and I'd rather not buy the graphic novel just to find out.
Thanks in advance.

Yassen Gregorovich!?
At the conclusion of Scorpia Rising, it is said that Horowitz will tell the tale of Yassen Gregorovich?
Anyone have any opinions?
Holy--!
Hey look! It's a bird! It's a plane!
...No. It's WarriorLoverInc.
Darn. Thought I had something going there. Anyway, you may have noticed that I've been absent for... awhile. I had some real life crisises, and am still in the midst of the shit that hit the fan. Or the car(s), as it were. No story for you people, anyway.
But...!
- I fixed the menu! Cheer for me, I figured out the new wikitext.
- I did a tiny bit to the Facebook fanpage. I'm going to see about putting up a Welcome page and a quiz.
I won't be able to edit often, but I'll try. So, even if I'm the only one alive again, glad to be a bit back!

If you havn't read the series you should its awesome.
Might be gone...
Hello all, I would just like to warn you in advance that you may not see much of me for a while. I found another wiki about a book I love in chaotic dissaray. I'll be spending more time on that particular wiki until I feel satisfied that it's back on track again.
That wiki is the Artemis Fowl Wiki.
If you like Alex Rider, I recommend Artemis Fowl too. It's a series about a (barely) teenage criminal mastermind who endures plenty of near-angst and life threatening adventures. Did I mention there are faries? Think it sounds lame? I did too, until I read it. Eoin Colfer really has a way with words, I'm totally hooked on the books.
Well, hope I won't be gone long. I won't be completely absent. I'll still pop in once and awhile to check for new use…

Newest Sherlock Holmes to be Written by AH
There are a select few franchises that never end. Star Wars, Star Trek, and Lord of the Rings are a few.
Sherlock Holmes, the endless installation of mystery novels featuring the world's most famous detective, has long since branched away from what Sir Conan Doyle wrote all those years ago.
Anthony Horowitz, author of the much-loved Alex Rider series, was contracted by the Conan Doyle Estate to write the newest installation of the Sherlock Holmes saga. The whole project is still under wraps, but two things are for sure: the title is Sherlock Holmes and the House of Silk and the release date is 11/1/11.
While our brains are trying to comprehend all the ones in that date, Horowitz is locked in a room somewhere typing up the rough draft of the novel. Watc…

Sources Patrol
For anyone who's wondering, I'm slowly and methodically combing through every article on this wiki from A to Z and adding a "Sources" section at the end of the article.
One of the first things I noticed about this wiki was it's apparent lack of sources cited. I plan to change that through a time-consuming campaign I like to call "The Sources Patrol." Anyone can join me, just put the message "I'm part of the Sources Patrol" on your profile.

Stormbreaker: A Review
Stormbreaker: A Review. A book review by User:WarriorLoverInc on the Alex Rider novel Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz.
I must admit, when I first picked up the title, I was not intrigued in the least.
My school library and I have been good friends over the years. Over three-fourths of their books have been lovingly paged, checked out and in, and re-shelved by my hands. My problem: what to read. I wanted action, suspense, a strong plot, and thriller! I didn't get any of that from the cover of our edition of Stormbreaker. It was plain, just the simple Strombreaker computer logo, the title, the author, and a single sentence: "Alex Rider -- You're never too young to die."
"You'll love it," my librarian said.
I needed a book to read when I was done test…
Not the Best Idea...
Whoopsie doo, I guess it wasn't a great idea to create a new wiki. I feel like I'm completely detached to any other wikis I'm at, and just focusing on the MJ Wiki...god, I'm really sorry guys. I'll try my best to be active here. :D

WHAT IS THIS GOSSIP I HEAR!?
According to this Wikipedia article, there is a potential of the Alex Rider series becoming a TELEVISION SERIES! This garners a few reactions from me.
- My inner fangirl says: "OMG!! YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!" *shreik*
- My inner cynic says: "This is Wikipedia."
- My outer scorn says: "The TV series would ruin it."
- My outer fan says: "Oh heck yeah!!"
Meanwhile I find nothing else about this on the internet (I almost rue the day they invented it). I research the television station that would host it, ITV. It airs Anthony Horowitz's other series', Foyle's War and stuff, so there is a bit of a link, but now I'm just grasping at strings.

New Templates
Hello everyone, it's Shrev64 again! I just wanted to ask all you AR Wikians on whether it would be okay to renovate the templates here. I've got some reasons:
- The Color Scheme makes the infobox's content completely un-readable
- The coding for the infoboxes can be much simpler than they currently are
- We might as well make the templates good, since that's the first thing readers see when they hit an article.
So...what do you think?
Currently renovated templates:
- Template:Character Infobox
Help this Wiki!
Hey everyone out there, I just wanted to say that I'm proud to be a part of the Alex Rider Wiki. I've also noticed that some parts of this wiki are unnecessary, don't need to be there, and/or need to be created. This blog post is for any articles that need fixing, creating, or deleting. Please put articles that fit these categories as your comment below. Thanks! :D
Final Book Released!
The final installation of the Alex Rider series, Scorpia Rising, was released in North America on March 22 of this year. In a new move for the series, it was published in North America before the United Kingdom editions, released on March 31.
But fans, do not despair, Horowitz still plans to go through with his project, currently referred to as "Yassen." And the Alex Rider graphic novel series still has a few more editions to go, the next being Eagle Strike.
Scorpia Rising is available on-line and in-store wherever books are sold.
Want to see what fellow Wikia users are saying about Scorpia Rising? Join the conversation in the Forums or check out the category page.
On Scorpia Rising
Well, Horowitz, I'd say that was a great way to end the seires! I love Scorpia Rising to bits! I'm not kidding when I say I was the first person in my state to purchase the book in-store. (She is obsessed)
But when you said you'd bring a character back by "popular demand," I harbored this certainty deep inside that Yassen would be making an appearance. Although I told myself not to get my hopes up, I still felt a tiny blow of dissapointment. My favorite assassin would not be rising from the dead.
Nevertheless, Scorpia Rising assured the Alex Rider series went out with a bang, I never saw Smithers' last gadget coming! Thanks for the great ride, Horowitz, you've found yourself a devoted fan.

I'm Jack
My name is Jack, as in Jack. Boy. Not Jackie or Jaqueline like the Jack from Alex Rider probably was. What was her real name anyway? Maybe we'll never know.
Reading that last sentence I am reminded that I am cursed with the inability to spell "maybe" right. I've corrected it now but either on paper or on a computer monitor I am always accidentally spelling it "mabye". I usually catch myself but not always, so if you see an article I've edited look out for that.
What I've typed already should tell you all you need to know about me for now but in case you're wondering I'm 15 years old and I live in the UK.

Yassen Gregorovich
Yassen Gregorovich is one of the best characters in the Alex Rider series and I really can't wait for the Yassen novel!!!!! Yassen is mysterious, clever and when he refuses to shoot Alex I mean that just sets up Scorpia for you and its just AHHHH!!! Yassen Gregorovich is just a really cool name and I hated it when he died. (waaaaa!!). Please say what's you favourite quality of Yassen the assassin! Alex Rider #1 fan 19:13, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
