The Consanto is a ship based in Valletta, Malta that served as Dr. Luka Kovacic mobile laboratory. The ship is where Dr. Kovacic created the Invisible Sword technology. The ship was equipped with state-of-the-art pharmaceutical labs but Kovacic let the exterior of the ship fall into disrepair as a result of his personal financial struggles. Alex Rider infiltrated the ship to confront Kovacic and learn more about SCORPIA. When he arrived, he learned SCORPIA assassin Nile had been sent to kill Kovacic and reacquire the diamonds he had been paid with. Nile had rigged the boat to explode to destroy all the evidence, but before the bomb went off he found Alex and offered to take him to Julia Rothman.
