Rachel Stephenson appears briefly in the book Scorpia. She has a doctorate degree, thus giving her the title of 'Doctor'.

At the COBRA meeting, she is not considered important enough to be at the table, so she sits next to the wall. Rachel is the first to suggest the idea that Scorpia may have injected the schoolchildren and soccer players with gold coated nanoshells.
