Season Three

Season Three of the television series Alex Rider premiered on Amazon Prime Video and IMDb TV on April 5, 2024. Season 3 is based on the fifth book in the series, Scorpia.

Synopsis []

Adapted from the fifth Alex Rider novel, Season 3 sets the teenage spy on the tail of his greatest enemy: the malign agency known as Scorpia. Under new leadership, the criminal cabal plan to extort the British Government using their catastrophic new super-weapon: ‘Invisible Sword’. Free of The Department and aided by his closest friends, Tom and Kyra, Alex embarks on a personal mission to destroy Scorpia once and for all. Little does he know, his ties to both organisations run deeper than he ever thought possible.

Production[]

In October of 2022, Alex Rider began filming, which was confirmed by KFTV.

On January 19th 2023, the official Alex Rider Instagram, and Twitter Account posted a new picture saying your favourite spy is back, and Variety revealing that Sofia Helin, Shelley Conn, Kevin McNally, Jason Wong will be joining the Season 3 Cast.

On April 10th 2023, Anthony Horowitz, Author of the Alex Rider books, confirmed that Season 3 is officially being edited. On May 6th 2023, a twitter user by the name Daniel asked "What's coming first, the book Nightshade Revenge, or Season 3?" Anthony answered with "The book probably." The next day, another twitter user by the name Syncz asked "How close are we to Alex Rider Season 3", he confirmed that Filming has wrapped, and 5 episodes are done being edited.

On June 12th 2023, Syncz once again asked if there's a current planned release window, Anthony responded by confirming there is no release date or window as of now, and the team is doing final edits.

Amazon Freevee confirmed that season 3 will be the final season of the series and will release on April 5 2024.^[1] ^[2]
